Ordesa National Park

Ordesa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Special Protection Area for Birds, particularly noting the protected bearded vulture. Part of its territory constitutes the ‘Ordesa-Viñamala’ Biosphere Reserve. We propose a selection of the most accessible and preferred routes for those who visit the Huesca Pyrenees:

Ordesa-Viñamala Biosphere Reserve
Spain has a network of 52 biosphere reserves, one of the largest in the world. The municipality of Biescas is part of the Ordesa-Viñamala Biosphere Reserve (117,364 hectares), one of the best representations of the Pyrenean mountain ecosystem, specifically related to erosion and glaciation formations, and extensive vegetal formations of unique value.
In 2018, Hotel Tierra de Biescas received recognition as an associated company with the Ordesa-Viñamala Biosphere Reserve to collaborate in promoting a sustainable economy and boosting Responsible Tourism. This contribution aims to harmonize the conservation of biological and cultural diversity and economic and social development through people’s relationship with nature.
